Thiruvinnagar
Thiruvinnagar is a Hindu temple where the presiding deities are Bhumidevi and Uppiliappan Perumal, located in Tirunageswaram, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu. It is temple #13 in the traditional order of the 108 Divya Desams — the 108 Vishnu shrines praised in the Naalayira Divya Prabandham of the Alvar saints.
Near Kumbakonam, Oppiliappan ('the incomparable lord') is worshipped with strictly salt-free offerings — a nod to the legend of his marriage to Bhudevi's daughter. Many families treat a visit here as equivalent to Tirupati, whose deity he is considered the elder brother of.
