Nataraja Temple
Nataraja Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Chidambaram, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams — the Shiva temples glorified in the Tevaram hymns of the Nayanmar saints.
Chidambaram is where Shiva dances the cosmic dance as Nataraja, and its Chit Sabha enshrines the famous 'Chidambara Rahasyam' — the secret that God is formless space. One of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams representing the element of sky, it is among the most philosophically significant temples in all of Hinduism.

Visiting
