Ekambareswarar Temple (Kanchipuram)
Ekambareswarar Temple (Kanchipuram) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams — the Shiva temples glorified in the Tevaram hymns of the Nayanmar saints.
Kanchipuram's largest temple represents earth among the five elemental Shiva shrines. Its ancient mango tree, whose four branches are said to bear four different tastes of fruit, and its thousand-pillared hall anchor one of the seven moksha-granting cities of India.
